My Best Marriage Advice?

Although most newlyweds I know aren’t in the habit of asking for advice (hey, neither am I, and I’m no newlywed!), I’m going to offer some anyway.  You can turn away if you like, but I promise you this:  married life will be easier if you both listen up.

I’m over at Blissfully Domestic today with marital advice that, clearly, I think is great!  To read the whole post, click here.  Otherwise, you’ll just have to keep wondering…

Beach Date

When you think of couples and summer and the beach, what comes to mind?  Sun, sand, surf?  Bikinis and laughter?  Sunset smooches?

Now think about the last time you and your other half went to the beach.

The last time we went, we had three boys and a puppy with us, and believe me, a bikini was not on the agenda.

How can you bring the romance back to the beach trip?  Read my post at Blissfully Domestic to see what we did.

 Cheers!

Is Your Spouse Your Boyfriend (or Girlfriend)?

Recently, I read a post in which the blogger started out by talking about keeping her own name when she got married and trading traditional stay-at-home/working spouse roles but ended up with her, basically, describing why she’s fine with swinging.

Wow, I didn’t see that coming.

Her post really got me thinking & you can read more about what I thought over at Blissfully Domestic. Love to hear your thoughts, too!
