Take Care of Your Marriage

Exercise! Eat right! Get enough sleep!

If you read the newspaper, magazines, or really, anything online that’s geared towards women, you’ll often hear this advice: take care of your needs first.

It’s good advice. And if you’re married and have young children, you can add this wrinkle: you need to take care of your marriage, too.

For moms and dad who are overwhelmed with the demands of jobs, life, diapers, nighttime feedings, and toddlers clinging to every limb, finding time for love isn’t easy. After you’ve finally tucked kids into cribs and beds, it’s natural to want to fall into your own bed. All by yourself.

Your Best Investment? Invest in Your Marriage.

When we think about investing, we’re usually talking about money, right?  Save a little here, save a little there, add some compounding interest and voila.  With some foresight, effort, and a little sacrifice, you can build a stronger portfolio.

Applying those same principles to marriage can make it stronger, as well.
