Take Care of Your Marriage

Exercise! Eat right! Get enough sleep!

If you read the newspaper, magazines, or really, anything online that’s geared towards women, you’ll often hear this advice: take care of your needs first.

It’s good advice. And if you’re married and have young children, you can add this wrinkle: you need to take care of your marriage, too.

For moms and dad who are overwhelmed with the demands of jobs, life, diapers, nighttime feedings, and toddlers clinging to every limb, finding time for love isn’t easy. After you’ve finally tucked kids into cribs and beds, it’s natural to want to fall into your own bed. All by yourself.

  1. Great post and advice, Kirsetin! My husband and I were together for 5 months before our wedding day and we were pregnant after 9 months of marriage. We vowed then to keep our marriage a priority in order to raise a strong family….and so far it's working!
