When I logged on today, I noticed that my last post was my 500th. Crazy!
If you’ve been here awhile, you know that I was a hesitant entrant to the world of blogging, that I began blogging with a friend, and that I love to write about kids and media, kids & reading, parenting, and life. Mostly, though, I love the connections blogging creates, and knowing that I can connect with incredible women–thinkers, writers, mothers–even if they don’t live around the corner. What a gift that is!

I agree that the connections blogging creates is an amazing gift. I'm honestly not sure how I would hold up as a stay at home mom without it. I've made friends within my own town and halfway around the world through blogging. I talk with designers, professional photographers, crafters, chefs and then normal everyday moms like me all while sitting at the comfort of my own desk. And I get to express myself and have an outlet as well. What a gift!
I keep blogging because I love being part of the community. Hope you're here for at least 500 more!
