A Birthday Celebration When The Kids are In Charge
1. Ask Mom to make Italian Cream Cake for dad because it’s his favorite.
2. Ask Mom to buy gifts. With her money.
3. Decorate the house.

(yes, that is tape on my walls, thank you very much)
4. Play Happy Birthday on the piano.
5. Serve cake made by mom.
7. Give gifts purchased by mom.

8. Help clean up. But only if you’re the youngest.

Happy Birthday sweetheart!
Take Care of Your Marriage
Exercise! Eat right! Get enough sleep!
If you read the newspaper, magazines, or really, anything online that’s geared towards women, you’ll often hear this advice: take care of your needs first.
It’s good advice. And if you’re married and have young children, you can add this wrinkle: you need to take care of your marriage, too.
For moms and dad who are overwhelmed with the demands of jobs, life, diapers, nighttime feedings, and toddlers clinging to every limb, finding time for love isn’t easy. After you’ve finally tucked kids into cribs and beds, it’s natural to want to fall into your own bed. All by yourself.
Is this the best choice for your marriage? What do you think? To read more about what I think, click over to my post on Wedded Bliss. See you there!
